GoldMark Programme is a programme led by Volunteer Now and delivered through Ulster GAA and supported by the Department of Education which aims to promote and recognise sports volunteering for young people. Young sports volunteers are awarded for 50 hours, 100 hours and 200 hours of volunteering.

In Dromintee GAC we are very proud to have 12 young people, who, in very difficult circumstances, stepped up and volunteered last year.

We would like to thank the coaches in our club who mentor these young people.

The young people who achieved the awards are Tara Markey, Gareth Martin, Grainne O’Rourke, Ciara Walker, Leah McCreesh, Oisin McKeever, Reilly Mackle, Ciaran Tiernan, Leanne McGenity, Sean Taheny and Cliodhna McCoy.

Special recognition must be given to Adam Markey who was awarded the top award, 200 hours which was the culmination of several years of volunteering.

Congratulations to Adam and all our Volunteers.
