Rounders had their First Ladies game and first game at home in Rivervalley Friday evening against the Little Lambs from Tymon.

The Lambs played their first season at intermediate ladies last year and their experience won out with a 16-5 win.
There was some good play from Finians both on batting and fielding. Stand-out fielding performance was by Jean who made a super catch in the field and got second base tagged, getting a double out of both the batter and the player running between first & second.
We welcomed two new players to the team for the first time, Gemma & Ruth joined in the warm-up and watched the game so we hope to see them again soon.
Thanks to two of our male players Martin & Shane for their help with setup, warm-ups & sideline coaching for the ladies match. We are in the same group as the lambs so some things to work on ahead of our competitive game with them next month.
