Croí Laighean Credit Union continued support of the underage teams is much appreciated. As the underage numbers continued to grow over the past few years we were able to enter a team at every age level in both the Go Games Competition & the Bord na nOg competitions. In doing this we needed to get a new set of jerseys. Croí Laighean Credit Union were only too happy to oblige and the new jerseys arrived last week. The U13 mentors were delighted with them but were nervous on wearing a new set for a semi final. the U12 team were delighted to step in and wore them in Naas in a highly competitive match in the soaring heat. Unfortunately the U12 team who battled hard came out the wrong side of the scoreboard on this occasion. Washed and ready to go the U13 team took to the pitch and after an early scare they settled in to beat Celbridge and progress to the Final. As one mentor remarked, only for the Credit Union no one would ever had their first car in Coill Dubh. The Hurling Club has been at the heart of the Village as has the Credit Union so their continued support is quite fitting.
