St. Finians first team hurlers concluded their league campaign with a 3-10 to 1-8 win over Naomh Fionnbarra in Ridgewood on Sunday morning.

St. Finians opened strongly but scores struggled to go on the scoreboard until Chris Brennan & Eoin O'Connor both found the net before the end of the first quarter.

At half time Finians led by 3 points and remained in the ascendancy until the final whistle with a Kevin Hammond save denying Naomh Fionnbarra an equalising goal at a crucial stage.

With newcomers to the 2021 side Dylan Grey, Fiachra Comber and Adam McGurk prominent and energetic Finians stretched out their lead in the final quarter with a Jack Murray goal proving to be the insurance score

A good conclusion to the league campaign for St. Finians with attention now turning to the championship.
