The ladies rounders team played a 4 innings friendly in Ridgewood on Sunday afternoon against Skryne from Meath.

It was a close competitive game finishing 8-4 to St Finians. All 9 players were fantastic with great catches from Áine Morris in Left outfield & Úna at short stop. The joint players of the match were Lisa Cassidy Joanne Kearney. Lisa for her great pitching and 3 catches and Joanne for two great hits at batting over the heads in the right outfield, helping a couple of teammates score their runs.

The mixed team took the field after that to play the social team from Limekiln but unfortunately, it wasn’t 3rd time lucky as hoped for 3rd encounter with this young and energetic group. The final result was 31-11 to Limekiln but it was an enjoyable game on a sunny Sunday afternoon in Ridgewood.
