Great football played in Upperchurch-Drombane & Newport at Michael Hogan Festival of Football by our two U11 teams. Green team were in Upperchurch-Drombane who won three tough league games against Galtee Rovers, Ardfinnan and Mulinahone. They then defeated Silvermines in the semi final before being defeated in an epic encounter by Ardfinnan that went down to the last minute of extra time. Meanwhile in Newport our Gold team played JK Brackens and Nenagh winning both games, then defeated Newport in the semi before over coming Toomevara in the final. Thanks to Newport for the warm food and drinks supplied afterwards. A great bunch of kids. The future is bright for Aherlow Lattin/Cullen.U11 Michael Hogan Festival of Football
