Gers U20 V St.Fechins The Gers under 20’s opened their season with a loss at home to St. Fechins, in what was literally a game of two halves. Trailing by 8 points at half time having played way below their potential, the lads put right a lot of the failings by increasing their work rate, and moving the ball quickly into the scoring zone where Mark Leavy in particular slotted some beautiful points from Play. Unfortunately we left ourselves with too much to do, but management were much happier with the lads performance in the 2nd half, that will give us all confidence going into Sundays game away to St. Brides.
