Manortown Utd wish to announce the sad passing of Bobby Lynch.

Bobby was a local referee who helped out the club on many occasions over the years. Charity fundraisers, mini leagues, seven-a sides and numerous challenge matches.

He was always available, even at very short notice, to help out the club. Along with his good friend Jack O Byrne, he gave a lot of his time to the club and for this we are eternally grateful.

He kept himself very fit and passed away this week in his nineties.

He leaves behind 5 daughters, two sons and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also leaves behind many great memories in Manortown.

The club would like to take this opportunity to thank Bobby for all his hard work for the club and we would like to offer our deepest condolences to his family and extended family.

Thanks again for everything Bobby

May you rest in peace.

Funeral mass tomorrow Thursday March 3rd in St Mary’s Church Crumlin at 11-30
