It was very much the Caolan Reynolds show in Gaelic Park, Bundoran last night as Naomh Ultan made it two from two in the U15 SRB Division 2 league. Having defeated Na Rossa in a thriller on Wednesday night last, this game had similarities in that there were an array of goals! 10 in total, 6 of them from Naomh Ultan and no less than 5 from the in form Reynolds.
As the old saying goes, goals win games and this was case in point here. Realt Na Mara and Naomh Ultan exchanged the lead numerous times throughout but in the end up it was a two goal difference between the sides, in favour of Naomh Ultan. Reynolds finished the evening with a total of 5-4, with Brian Carey grabbing the other Naomh Ultan goal. Dylan McHugh made another good impact inside, scoring 0-3 from play to help his side get the win.
Congratulations to this team and management on another great win, especially on the road. This marks the mid point of this season's SRB Division 2 league. Having played all the teams once, they now take them all on again this time in the reverse fixture. Next up is Four Masters in Pairc Naomh Ultan this Bank Holiday Monday, May 2nd. Throw in is 7pm.
