Ballymackey u13 girls qualified for the final of the cup with a 5-2 win over holycross on a wet night in ballymackey. Ballymackey were ahead after 28 seconds when Olivia fitzpatrick burst through the middle to finish to the net. Soon after it was two when Olivia Looby broke through on the right hand side of the box to slide the ball under the goalie. Ballymackey were on top and controlling midfield through Mioda o shea and lily Kate kenneally. Ballymackey scored the third direct from a Mioda o shea corner. Holycross came into the game and were denied by some good defending by niamh Spain and Lisa Fitzgerald. Into the second half and ballymackey added a fourth when Mioda o shea went down the left and finished past the advancing goalie. Holycross pulled two goals back in quick succession and it was game on then.
