Our U12s won the league final this evening against a very strong Lannleire side. Really was a game of 2 halves with the opposition playing the better football in the first half to go in at half time with a 2-3 to 0-1 lead.
The nicks came out in the second half with a score to settle and right from the throw in they dominated. Slowly working their way back into the game and making it all square half way through the half. Lannleire then scored a break away goal putting them back in front. But this nicks team kept fighting and from the kick out worked it up the pitch to score a brilliant goal and went on from that to win by 4 points with a score line of 2-10 to 3-3.
