Inch Crusaders 1-5 Shannon Hibs
Shannon Hibs continued their good start to the season after coming from behind in the second half to defeat Inch Crusaders at Lees Road on Sunday. Shannon Hibs had the first chance of the match when Patrick Divanney headed wide after 2 minutes. Gary Leahy was called on to make a great save for Shannon Hibs on 6 minutes when keeping out a mishit clearance from Darragh McDade. Ray Fahey went close for Hibs on 32 minutes after getting on the end of a Liam Delaney cross but his shot narrowly missed the target. Inch finished the half strong and Thiago Santana had a shot blocked by Cathal McCoy 40 minutes. Right on half time a good run and cross from Santana was narrowly missed at the back post by Ronan Grace. Inch started the second half well and Ronan Grace put them in front. Hibs raised there game and Gary Leahy who started the game in goals for the visitors took up an attacking position and banged in four second half goals. Jimmy Houlihan scored a fifth goal for the Shannon side to round off an impressive second half performance.
