On Sunday at 12:30pm our u13 Academy team, captained by Anna Haugh, took on Inagh Kilnamona in their final game of the year.
The 'Bridge started strong with a goal from Sarah O Grady in the 5th minute. It took Inagh Kilnamona 12 minutes to answer with a goal from their side but this began a period of dominance from the visiting side as they scored another goal and then a point to extend their lead. Just before half time, Sarah O'Grady was on target again with another goal to narrow the gap to a point going into half time.
The Sixmilebridge team came out after the break with a new lease of life, played as a team and the scores came. Caoimhe Liddane was the first to score a point from play and Sarah O'Grady added another point to her tally. Caoimhe then scored a goal, as did Sarah Conlon. A point from Aishling White completed the scores for Sixmilebridge, with a final score of Sixmilebridge 4-3 to Inagh Kilnamona 3-1.
