Well done to our Amalgamation Junior team & management who won their county final yesterday evening against Cratloe.
It was a closely contested final in Kilkishen. The ladies put in 100% throughout and their teamwork paid off in the last quarter when they were down by 7 points as team Joint Captain Aisling Doyle and Lisa Hogan were both on target scoring a goal each followed by a point from Ciara Sexton to be crowned the Junior C Camogie Champions of 2022.
Special mention to Rebecca Culligan for her accuracy in her scoring of (0-9, 6f) both from play and frees. Others scorers were Lisa Hogan 2-0, Aisling Doyle 1-0 and Laura Carmody and Ciara Sexton a point each.
