Thurles RFC would like to thank former TRFC player, David Sweeney for his very generous sponsorship of Thurles RFC for this season. David presented a set of Canterbury Jerseys to 1st Team Manager, Shay Scanlon, before Kick Off at Crosshaven RFC on Saturday evening.
Following an illustrious career with Thurles, David moved to Cork where he set up Sweeney Solicitors at 15 South Terrace. David also played rugby in Cork with Sundays Well where he went on to be Head Coach and also became President of the famous Cork City Club.
