What a great Saturday it was for some of the Clubs U20 and U17 hurlers who were involved in the Connacht Senior Schools finals in Ballinasloe and the Beakan.
Presentation College Athenry beat St Raphael's, Loughrea to win the 'A' title on a score line of 0-19 to 2-10, with no less than 7 Clarinbridge hurlers in the starting 15, with a further 6 players on the extended panel.
Also victorious was Clarin College, Athenry where they secured the 'C' title by beating St Killian, New Inn, 2-15 to 16 points. They had three Clarinbridge men on the panel with our very own Dylan Dunne captaining the team and who also chipped in with 1-8 on the day.
What a day for these players, their parents and a proud day for the Club. Best of luck to them in the All Ireland series. Hopefully will have some more silverware coming back to the Club!!!
