The late Paddy (Patsy) Gilchriest
Mullingar Shamrocks extends its sympathy to the family and friends of the late Patsy Gilchriest, a native of Edgeworthstown who resided in Walkinstown, Dublin and in particular we extend sympathy to Patsy’s wife Maura, and his children Deirdre, Catriona, Enda and Síne, sisters Lil and Teresa and brother Joe.
The late Patsy was a brother of Lil Maguire, brother-in-law to Des and uncle to Barry, Daragh, Seán and Ciara, one of the great Mullingar Shamrocks families. Patsy Gilchriest was an active member of the Robert Emmett Club in Dublin and played minor football for Longford.
This has been a very difficult time for Lil Maguire as it is the third occasion in less than eight months that we have extended sympathy to Lil on the death of a close family member.
