Pre-Season Friendly; Rathcoole 0, Liffeybank 2 (Sharon Luis x2).
Liffeybank Women's team travelled to Rathcoole in their final pre-season friendly on Sunday afternoon. Playing against the newly formed Rathcoole side Liffeybank started brightly and dominated midfield. New recruits Siobhan Reddin and Angie Litsiou teamed up well with Chloe Murray all through the game.
Liffeybank's first goal came in the 17th minute, great thinking from Amy Tully taking a quick throw in to Leeanne Royle who in turn played through Sharon Luiz to slot the ball home.Eight minutes later Sharon got her brace after more good work on the left by Amy. Liffeybank controlled the rest of the game and limited Rathcoole to the odd half chance.
Next up for the team is Kilcock Celtic in the first game of the 2023 season.
