NDSL U11 Mattress Mike Cup Quarter Final; Maynooth Town Reds 5, Liffeybank 3 (Josh K x2, Ryan).

This was an exciting Cup game played in great spirit between two evenly matched sides. Maynooth took an early lead despite Aaron Power making a great effort of keeping it out. Ryan Falvey equalised from a tight angle after good approach play by Josh O'Reilly. Maynooth streached their lead out to 3.1 but Liffeybank were also creating chances, two cracking shots off the crossbar just failing to go in. Maynooth then made it 4.1 from the penalty spot before Josh Kenny brought Liffeybank back into it with two well taken goals. Both teams went all out for goals and it was the home side who got the last one to make it 5.3 in the end. Well played to both sets of players who served up a wonderful display for all the spectators.
