The Galway Cup took place this week in Salthill Devons FC and large crowds were treated to some fantastic games from Wednesday through to Saturday.
Shannon Town had plenty of representation from our U12 and U13 Boys teams. Evan Power and Daithi Lynch played for the Clare U12s in all 5 games, playing some great football and performed really well.
Liam Hogan, Matthew Cabida and Max Wegrzyn played for the U13 Boys. Liam scored 2 goals and scored a penalty in a shoot-out where Max also saved one and was a safe pair of hands in all games. Matthew played in midfield in all 5 games and was excellent, providing his usual high energy, quality displays.
Well done boys, it was great to see our club represented across all age groups in such a prestigious competition. Keep up the good work.
