The Junior As lost out to the Banner in their 2nd round championship game on Sunday in Newmarket.

The Banner were led by Clare star Shane Meehan who lined out at midfield but moved around quite a bit. Shane Meehan with 2 of the Banners goals and Thomas Meenaghan with the third. Cian Gleeson raised the green flag for Sixmilebridge. A five point loss in the end but the 'Bridge now have Broadford and Ennistymon to play in Rd. 4 and Rd. 5 in the championship, so hoping they can get the wins to get to the knockout stages.
