What a great Christmas present for your family and friends ......... Our clubman, Pat Lynches book “A Legacy from Clane GAA” is in big demand again this year

This 230-page hardback is full of local history stretching back to the poverty-stricken days of the 1880s, the foundation of the GAA at national level – Croke, Nally, Cusack, Hogan, Davin and others feature.

At local level Clane’s native sons and daughters are honored for their contributions to Conneff Park. What a legacy they have left to our children, teens, and adults of today and into the future – Archers, Dunnes, Brackens, Cribbins, Connollys, Conneffs, Merriman's, Healys, giants from the past. Many are no longer with us, but they are remembered.

The book contains 200 colorful photos. The author, a “blow-in” of 57 years shares a first-time account of Conneff park. This is a unique account of local and national GAA history.

Thanks to the generous sponsorship by Timmy Murphy's Brookhaven healthcare in facilitating raising €15,500k for the club to date with this publication.

Books are available from the club and from the author for €20
