AGM postponed

Our AGM, which was scheduled for last Sunday, was postponed as a mark of respect to the late Kathleen Stones, St James’ Terrace, Kilbeggan.

Kathleen, who passed away peacefully last Wednesday, was a lovely lady whose sons Mick and James are former players and who remain avid supporters of club and county from their adopted New York. Their company, MJS Builds, holds the naming rights to our grounds.

The AGM will be rescheduled for next weekend.

Lotto

Last week’s lucky numbers were 3, 15, 20 and 23. There was no jackpot winner; the Match 3 winner was Caroline Kelly.

This week’s jackpot is €12,350 with all proceeds going to SWEETS Kilbeggan. Make sure to buy tickets online or at Centra, Mace and Whelan’s before Tuesday, December 10.

St. Stephen's Day fun run / walk

Club stalwart Dermot Smith’s annual Kilbeggan 6k fun run / walk in support of CHI at Crumlin takes place on St Stephen’s Day.

Starting time is 12 noon, with registration taking place in the Kilbeggan Parish Centre. You can also register online or make a donation by logging onto www.myrunresults.com. Entry costs €10.

Open to all ages, the event is a great way to work off the festive feastings.
