Recently Gaelic Games, as the GAA, Camogie Association, LGFA, GAA Handball and GAA Rounders proudly launched the new Gaelic Games Nursery Programme.

This brilliant initiative is designed especially for children aged 4 to 6 years, offering them a safe, enjoyable and supportive introduction to Gaelic Games. Focused on fundamental movement skills like agility, balance and coordination, the programme lays the groundwork for a lifetime of physical activity, confidence, and fun – all while nurturing a love for our national games.

A key feature of the programme is a specialist workshop for coaches, aimed at helping them deliver age-appropriate sessions in a way that is child-centred, inclusive and engaging. These workshops will be a fantastic resource for ensuring that our youngest players have a positive first experience in sport.

This launch is not just about sport – it's about community, development and giving every child the chance to shine. The unified effort from all Gaelic Games organisations reflects a shared vision for the future: one where all children are given the tools, support and environment to grow and thrive.
