Our U14 Girls enjoyed a trip to the UK on Easter weekend as we travelled to take part in a 2 day tournament in Cheshire, England.

An early start on Friday morning as we left Sixmilebridge on our way to Dublin Port and onwards to Holyhead.

Although the crossing was rough the girls were in great spirits and once we arrived at Holyhead we had a one hour bus journey to our accommodation at Talacre Beach Resort in North Wales.

Early start on Saturday morning for the first of 5 games which would see us compete with teams from Ireland, England and Scotland.

On Sunday we played 4 games with the girls ending up as runners up in the U14 Girls section.

A brilliant weekend for a great group of girls.

Special thanks to Classy Creations who provided goodie bags for the girls trip, Aramex for the beautiful bootbags, Sixmilebridge Credit Union and many other contributors to our trip.

Thanks also to all the parents on the trip who made the weekend such an enjoyable one for the group.

We are very grateful for your hospitality.
