CAMOGIE
Well done to Lexi who participated in the u14 Camogie development blitz in SETU Arena with the Waterford blue squad. They had great group wins over Tipperary white, Wexford purple & Dublin, then beating Kilkenny black in the final winning the Shauna McGrath memorial plaque. Well done girls!
Well done to our u16 White squad who played round 2 of the u16 league away to Dungarvan this week, with a great win. Great battle by both teams in the heat. Keep up the excellent work girls and coaches
Congratulations to our former underage player Sarah Sheehan and all the Sheehan family, on Sarah wining the Leinster Intermediate Camogie Final for Carlow v Laois, over the weekend.
GAA
Our u10 had ‘go games’ out in Kill this week against St. Mary's and An Gaelteacht. Great fun was had by all.
Our U14 Footballers went down to the Nire in a tough Div 3 battle, hard luck lads.
Hard luck to our Senior Hurlers who went down to Lismore in the All County League Div 1 and to our Junior B Hurlers who ent down to the Brickeys the the County LeagueDiv 9.
A great display by the Waterford Minor Hurlers as they went down with a great battle in the Munster Final to Cork. Hard luck to Darragh, Conor, Shane & Ricky on the sideline team.
Congrats to Jake Dillon Senior Hurler of the Year and Niall Dawson, Junior Hurler of the Year both presented at training by Senior Manager Ian Flynn. Well done to Jake & Niall on their fantastic personal seasons
