CAMOGIE

Congratulations to Kate Douglas (Gaelscoil na nDeise) & Abbie Kavanagh (St Ursula’s) who competed in the Munster Primary Game at half time in the Senior Rd 5 Championship game Waterford v Cork. So proud of you girls, well done to you and all the Waterford girls.

Well done to the U14A girls who played a great 3-3 to 2-6 battle for a draw with Gaultier during the week. A great win by our U16D girls in Rd 2 away to Dungarvan earlier during the week, well done girls.

GAA

Congratulations to our U6s, who had a great day Saturday playing their first game for the Club. There was plenty of great hurling and skill on display from our youngest team in the Club. Thanks to Passage for great hospitality, appreciated. Our under 6 hurler of the week is Nathan O Connor. Nathan has made great strides in the last few weeks and is really enjoying his hurling! Well done Nathan keep it up.

Congratulations to Joe Campos Rodriques who is this week’s u7 hurler of the week. Joe has only joined us recently but in a short space of time has shown remarkable improvement. Joe is a real trier, and deserves his award. Well done and keep up the good work Joe

Well done to Remy Fitzpatrick who is hurler of the week. Every time you see Remy he has his Hurley in his hand. It is no coincidence therefore that Remy is one of the most skilful hurlers around and fully deserving of hurler of the week. Well done Remy, well deserved

Great battle to the end by our U14 footballers who went down to Cappoquin away during the week.

Our Senior Hurlers lost out to Lismore during the week in the Senior Div 1 All County League.

Hard Luck to Shaun O’ Brien and all the Waterford management team & squad on yesterday loss but great battle with Cork. Well done and thanks to Shaun O’ Brien, Reuben Halloran, Conor Keane and Thomas Douglas on a great season with the senior hurlers.
