It is with deep sadness that Croagh/Kilfinny GAA Club marks the passing of Bríd Flynn (née O’Dwyer), Cappamore and Newcastle West. Brid was the beloved wife of Donie Flynn, a man with long and proud ties to our club, most notably as the manager of the first Croagh/Kilfinny team to win a Junior A West Hurling Championship in 1994.

Bríd was a constant support to Donie and their family, and her warm presence was felt by all who knew her.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Donie, Don, Caitriona, Seamus and Mairéad, to her grandchildren and to the extended family, relatives and friends at this sad time.

Bríd's remains will be arriving at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Newcastle West for prayers on this Thursday evening at 7pm. Requiem Mass tomorrow Friday 27th June at 11.30am followed by burial in Monagea Cemetery.

Funeral details are available here.
