We had 4 teams out this morning for our under 10 All Ireland Senior Club blitz.
Glen Rovers defeated Thurles Sarsfields in a very closely contested semi-final, with only 1 point seperating the teams at the final whistle.
In the other semi-final Na Piarsiagh had a big win over the fancied Ballyhale Shamrocks.
It was on then to the final where Glen Rovers, captained by Cormac Mulcair (who also gave a Man of the Match performance) just edged it over a spirited Na Piarsiagh team captained by Aidan Lowes.
Big thanks to Deirdre Roche who had sausage baps and chocolate squares for all the lads after the game.
Well done to James Roche (aged 4) who gave a very good account of himself at the edge of the square for Thurles Sarsfields.
