Fixtures for the Week
We have a Super Bumper few days of championship hurling and camogie coming up to keep everyone happy! Below is a run down of the games in the coming days.
Also dont forget on Saturday O'Garney Park will be hosting two matches which will be well worth viewing, the Senior Championship clash of Clonlara and St. Josephs Doora Barefield at 3pm and then at 7pm the Intermediate championship clash of Clarecastle and Bodyke.
U14A Camogie v Clarecastle, at O'Garney Park, 630pm, Wednesday
First up we have the U14A Camogie team who have been very competitive to date, drawing with Truagh Clonlara in the opening round, a game they dominated for long periods and only losing out narrowly to a very good Kilmaley side in Round 2. They take on Clarecastle at O'Garney Park at 630 on Wednsday eving in Round 3.
Smb U15A Hurling v Corofin Ruan, at Cusak Park, 730pm, Thursday (U15A Hurling Final)
Next up we have the U15A hurlers who have made it to the County Final where they will take on Corofin Ruan. They sides met earlier on in the championship with the result being a draw. This will be a hotly contested match and all support is welcome for the boys. Best of Luck to the players and manager Keith Walker and his backroom team.
U17A Academy Hurling v Clonlara, at Clonlara, 630pm, Friday
Our U17A Academy team have their first competitive outing of the year when they take on Clonalar in Round 1 of their championship.
Minor Camogie Semi Final v Clooney Quin at O'Garney Park at 7pm, Friday
The Minors received a bye v Truagh Clonlara and had good wins v St Joseph’s & Broadford Bodyke, finishing top in their group. Best of luck to the girls.

Smb Junior B2 Hurling v Inagh Kilnamona, at Clooney, 2pm, Saturday
Our Junior B2 team will begin their championship campaign on Saturday against Inagh Kilnamona, we have 2 Junior B teams this year and both squads are managed by Jamsey Hassett and Mikey Corbett. The Junior B1 Team have received a bye in Round 1 so wont line out for another couple of weeks.
Smb Senior Hurling v Crusheen, at Gurteen, 1pm, Sunday
Next up is a very important game for our Senior team who take on Crusheen in Round 2 of the championship. Having unfortunately only very narrowly lost out to Clonlara in Round 1, a win in Round 2 will be the goal to try and ensure progression for the 2025 championship.Best of luck to the team and jpint managers Stiofan Fitzpatrick and Tommy Liddy and their backroom team.
Smb Junior C Hurling v Broadford at Kilkishen, 6pm, Sunday
Our 5th team the Junior Cs take on neighbours Broadford in Kilkishen on Sunday in Round 1 of the championship. John Fahy again manages the squad and with big variety in ages across the squad it is hoped the right blend of youth and experience will generate the correct result in Kilkishen.
U14A Academy Camogie v Newmarket, at Cappa Lodge, 630pm, Monday
Our U14A Academy Team play their Round 2 clash against Newmarket on Monday next. In Round 1 this team had a good win against Kilmaley and will be hoping to keep the winning trend going.
U17A Hurling v Clooney Quin, at Clooney, 700pm, Monday
The U17 hurlers had a good win in the opening rounds against Scariff Ogonnelloe and Eire Og and will be hoping to make it 3 from 3 when they travel to Clooney on Monday evening.
