There was no Jackpot winner in our Lotto Draw on Monday 25/8/25 for €20,000. The numbers drawn were 6, 7, 10 & 23. The next draw is Mon 8/9/25 for a Rollover Jackpot of €20,000. Congrats to the U16A squad and management team on defeating Gailltír 2-09 to 1-11 winning back to back U16 titles and a huge well done on the U16D squad on getting to the Final, losing out to Gailltír. It was a fantastic achievement by the girls and management team to get two U16 teams to County Finals, well done all.
Well done to our Senior girls in the 2nd Round of Senior Camogie Championship, defeating Modeligo.
TONY FORRESTAL/SONNY WALSH TOURNAMANT
The incessant rain didn’t stop the Sonny Walsh U14 Inter County Tournament going ahead in our Gracedieu grounds. Sonny Walsh RIP, was a great Club stalwart & we’re proud to host this competition in his honour. The Community Committee had some great refreshments & treats on offer to complement some very talented hurling on display, thank you. The Waterford White team landed the Sonny Walsh Cup defeating Cork City Team by 1-10 to 1-07, congrats to all including Joe Burke who is in the squad. Well done to Darragh Scanlon & Paddy Fitzpatrick with the Waterford Blue team in the Tony Forrestial Competition on over the weekend too.

Congratulations to our Minor Hurlers who defeated Lismore by 0-21 to 2-13 (19) in the JJ Kavanagh & Sons Minor Div 1 Shield County Final. It was a closely but competitively contested final all the way with the lads emerging victors. Well done to all the squad and the Management team!
Hard Luck to our Senior hurlers who gave us a fantastic performance to be so proud of in the County Senior Hurling Semi Final v Ballygunner. Being the better team for most of the game, two late goals created a scoreboard that didn’t reflect the game… but that’s sport, well done lads & management team.. Thanks for a great season .
