𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗙𝗖 – 𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗬 𝟭𝟬𝟬𝗧𝗛 𝗕𝗜𝗥𝗧𝗛𝗗𝗔𝗬!

𝗢𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗴𝗼 — on 3rd September 1925 — a group of local people came together to officially form a rugby club in Navan. From that meeting, Navan Rugby Football Club was born.

📜 The handwritten note pictured below is the first ever set of minutes taken at that founding meeting.

Affiliations soon followed with the North-East Area, the Leinster Branch and the IRFU, and after playing at various sites around Navan, the club found its permanent home at Balreask Old.

For a century now, Navan RFC has made a proud and ongoing contribution to the sporting and social fabric of both Navan and County Meath, while helping to grow Rugby Union across Leinster and Ireland.
