This tie saw the teams at level pegging at half time with 1-9 apiece, the Bridge goal coming courtesy of Noel Flynn. Mark Gaule supplied 3 points in the half, Peter Gilligan a couple more and single points for Paul Corbett, Mike O'Halloran, Dara Whyte and a free from Noel Flynn.

A second goal for Clarecastle in the second half proved the difference in the end despite Bridge points scored from Dara Whyte, Cathal Ahern, Paul Corbett and a free from Mike O'Halloran. 

On the day Mark Gaule with his first half scoring contribution of 3 points as well as Gavin O'Reilly, Gary O'Callaghan, Paddy Reilly, Dara Whyte and Peter Gilligan played well.
