The late Ray Monaghan

The executive and members of Mullingar Shamrocks extend its deepest sympathies to the Monaghan family on the passing of Ray. In particular sympathy is extended to Ray’s children, Kenneth and daughter Denise, Denise’s partner Brendan, Ray’s grand children Caitlin, Grace, James and Alexander and Ray’s sister Gertie Wallace and his brother Brendan.
Ray was a jovial and good humoured presence around town, more often than not on his bike. Ray took a great interest in Shamrocks, an interest sparked by his late brother in law Paddy Wallace and the exploits of his nephew Robert as a noted underage custodian. Ray’s son Kenneth played underage with Shamrocks and his grand-nephews are members of the SeamrÓigí group.
Ar Dheis Dé go Raibh a Anam.

Ray reposes at Gilsenan's Funeral Home, Mullingar (N91 K660) on Friday 26 September  from 7.00 pm concluding with prayers at 9.00 pm. Ray's funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1.00 pm on Saturday 27th at The Cathedral of Christ The King, Mullingar followed by cremation service at Lakelands Crematorium Cavan (H12RF78) at 4.00 pm.
