Our AGM takes place on Sunday, November 23 in SWEETS at 7pm.
There are a number of key positions on the executive to be filled, including chairperson, secretary and treasurer. Nomination forms have been issued and should be returned to secretary.kilbegganshamrocks.westmeath@gaa.ie by next Friday, November 14.
Ladies football
Congratulations to Brendan and Sabrina Nannery who were shortlisted for Club Adult Coach and Club Committee Officer of the Year at the Westmeath LGFA dinner dance in the Bloomfield House Hotel, Mullingar last Friday.
The nominations were no than Brendan and Sabrina deserve for their hard work and dedication behind-the-scenes. Congratulations are also extended to Ayesha Roche and Ava Rochford who were presented with their Leinster intermediate and U16 championship medals respectively on the night.
Marathon man
A huge well done to club stalwart Dermot Smith on completing his 15th New York Marathon last Sunday week.
Lotto
Last week’s lucky numbers were 8, 17, 25 and 28. There was no jackpot or Match 3 winner. The Lucky Dip winner was Donal Fox.
