AGM
Our AGM takes place next Sunday, November 23 in SWEETS at 7pm.
As well as reviewing the year’s activities, a new chairperson, secretary, treasurer, underage chairperson and underage secretary are set to be elected.
All club members are requested to attend this very important meeting.
Awards night
Our end-of-year awards night was held in Larrigy’s last Saturday night.
The men’s senior Player of the Year was Nigel Scally, while Cillian Rochford won the Young Player of the Year accolade. In ladies football, the Senior Player of the Year was Chloe Ruane, and Olivia Wrafter was the Young Player of the Year.
The inaugural Club Person of the Year was shared by chairperson Adrian Carroll and secretary James Claffey following a vote taken by committee members. Special presentations were also made to our men’s and ladies team managements in appreciation of their efforts.
Well done to Colin Draper for all his work in organising the event.
Santa Meet & Greet
We are delighted to be hosting a magical Santa Meet & Greet at Locke’s Distillery on Saturday, November 29 from 12 noon to 2pm (12 noon to 12.30pm for a sensory-friendly visit).
Bring the whole family along for a fun-filled day where children can meet Santa, share their Christmas wishes, and receive a small gift to take home. It’s the perfect way to kick off the holiday spirit — with laughter, joy, and community cheer in a truly unique setting. All are welcome to join us for this special event!
