A very short update this time.
Firstly, our AGM will be held next Wednesday, 03rd December at 8pm. This is an opportunity for all members to attend and have their say in the direction of the club. I ask that you put a reminder in your phones or calendars and attend to have a say. The bar will be open afterwards for tea/coffee/drinks.
Secondly, our final and most important fundraiser of the year is the 200 Club Draw, https://dashboard.clubzap.com/articles/163498 . I am asking that you support this by buying a ticket (on your own, or as a syndicate with friends, colleagues, family) and also try and sell one. Success in this Fundraiser will mean a very significant improvement in our 2026 finances. In March of the year, https://dashboard.clubzap.com/articles/145728 I set out that the cost of running a club like ours is in excess €200, 000 per year, before we even consider investing in it or improving it. In that update, I posed the question, "So what can you do as a member?" and the answer remains the same. Therefore, on behalf of the club I ask all club members, parents, coaches, volunteers and friends to support, if you can, the 200 Club Draw by buying, part buying and selling a ticket. It will make a difference.
