Condolences

Dicksboro GAA and Camogie Club would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Bob (Robert) Doherty.

Bob, who was laid to rest this week, served as Chairman of Dicksboro in 1956 and was a proud representative of our club and community. A native of Doherty’s Pub, he distinguished himself on the field as well, winning a Minor All-Ireland with Kilkenny in 1950.

We are grateful for his dedication, his service, and the legacy he leaves within Dicksboro and Kilkenny GAA.
