Very well done to our 2011 boys who played in the Féile A and C football competitions over the weekend.
Our second squad recorded victory in their first game vs Ballymore but came up short in the next two games and missed out on a semi final place. The lads played some wonderful football throughout. Well done to Leixlip on their win.
Our first team won their group with victories over Monasterevan, hosts Carbury and Clane. In the semi final they overcame a gallant and spirited Round Towers side. In the final the boys came up short in a ding dong and brilliant battle with neighbours Clane on a scoreline of 1-8 to 0-9. We wish Clane the best as they now represent Kildare in the National Féile later in the summer.
2011 mentors would like to thank the parents, helpers, siblings, sponsors and fellow club members for their unwavering support over the weekend to both squads ⚪️🔵
