We are delighted to welcome 'GameSense Coaching' to our club for a full-day (Sat May 23rd), immersive hurling coach-the-coaches workshop, focused on enhancing player development, decision-making, and overall game understanding.
GameSense Coaching is widely recognised for its player centred, game based approach to coaching and learning. Rather than focusing solely on drills and instructions, the GameSense philosophy encourages players to learn through the game itself, developing tactical awareness, problem solving skills and confidence in real match situations.
Throughout the day, coaches will experience sessions that are:
- Interactive and engaging
- Grounded in real-game scenarios
- Designed to improve decision making, awareness and communication
- Focused on developing smarter, more adaptable players
This workshop is a fantastic opportunity for our club to continue its commitment to modern coaching practices and long-term player development. Coaches will gain practical tools and fresh ideas that can be immediately applied to training sessions.

All hurling team managers from u6 to adult should ensure their coaching team attends the morning, afternoon or both workshops, and all other One Club managers and coaches that would like to attend are very welcome.
