We’re looking forward to seeing our U17A squad take on Trim in the Division 2 Ladies Final in Simonstown this Saturday.
As if a fantastic game of football wasn’t enough, there will also be a collection on the day in aid of the incredible work carried out by Meath River Rescue.
Earlier this year, our coaches Figgi and Terry made a bold promise to the girls: if they reached the final, they would sacrifice their beloved gruaig and shave their heads. The girls were quick to seize the opportunity and turn this moment into something even more meaningful by raising much-needed funds for a charity close to the hearts of people in both the Simonstown and Trim communities.
So now the final has arrived, and there’s no turning back for the lads! ✂️👨🦲👨🦲
