On Thursday our U11 boys made the trip to Thurles to play some Hurling on Tom Semple's hallowed field.
It might have been their first time playing on this pitch, but judging by the performance over the hour, it most certainly will not be their last!
There was huge excitement upon arrival, the boys just itching to get onto the field. Or maybe itching due to it being 28C!🙂
We played 3 games over the hour, against Murroe Boher (Limerick), Killeagh (Cork) and Borrisoleigh (Tipperary).
It was evident from early on that our boys were tuned in and had come to put on their best performance to date in 2026.
The Team play, passing, scoring, tackling and discipline shown by all the boys, in all 3 games, was just fantastic to see.
This performance was a testament to the huge effort put in by all of the boys so far this year. They can be really proud they represented their club, Sixmilebridge, so very well on the day.
So a huge well done to the boys. And thanks to the Parents and Coaches who travelled down on the day. 👏
