The U10s took part in a 8-team blitz in Swilly Rovers this afternoon. We had an excellent day winning the Shield competition! We played really well in the opening game and drew with the overall Cup winners Lagan Harps.
The next two group games were tight affairs against Ballymore and Letterkenny Rovers with the result that we qualified for the Shield semi final. A 2-0 win over East Donegal Schoolboys followed putting us into the final against Ballymore which we won 3-1 with a great team performance.
The team really stood up when needed in both the semi-final and final. The day was great preparation for the Foyle Cup which is only 3 weeks away.
