The annual Sixmilebridge GAA Brian Corbett 45 drive took place Sunday evening January 5th at 6pm in Gleeson’s bar with a fine crowd in attendance. There was Sheep, Turkeys and Hams on offer and some even said they'd play for a packet of biscuits! It was great to see some old and new faces as the cards seem to be making a bit of a revival in the village. The Monday night games in Gleesons have been a regular fixture for a while now.

On the night the Brian Corbett perpetual cup went to the winning team of brothers Paddy & Tom Begley and their brother in law Michael Downes.

Well done to the raffle sellers and helpers Joan Keogh, Mary Corbett & Grainne Sullivan and Joan Murphy for organising the teams, rounds and matches etc. The cup was presented by Brians brother and sister Vera O' Meara and Sean Corbett.
