Our Senior Footballers had a 16 point victory over Tinryland in the Football League Division One game played at Deerpark on Sunday evening . In a game that hatrick hero Daryll Hayden will get all the plaudits im sure but the most pleasing thing for manager Brian Lonergan will be the performance every player put in from one to fifteen and  including the subs it was a complete performance its now two wins from two ganes played and things are really looking bright for 2016 . The Blues came out of the traps at a blistering pace and led 0-03 to 0-01 after 10 minutes play the scores coming from a Danny Thompson free a point from a 45 from Graham Delaney and a briliantly taken point from the left boot of Mark Davis following good link up play with Ray and Lee Walker . The Blues extended there lead courtesy of a Danny Thompson pointed from play which was quickly followed by a Graham Power free and a magnificent point off the left boot of Daryll Hayden who would finish the game with a personal tally of 3 - 02 . Tinryland then kicked there second free of the game to leave the scores Blues 0-06 Tinryland 0-02 at the 20 minute mark . The Blues finished the half the stronger and Daryll Hayden capatilized on a mistake in the Tinryland defence to give his side the opening goal of the game with a neat finish under the advancing Tinryland goalkeeper . Danny Thompson then pointed from a 14 metre free right on half time having been hauled down when in on goal to give his side a 1-08 to 0-02 lead at half time . The second half began in similar fashion the Blues were completely dominating throughout the field Niall Davis Paul Condron and Lorcan O Gorman in particular laurding it in the full back line . Five minutes into the second half the game could've been over but Graham Powers shot hit the crossbar and went over for a point when it looked certain to be a goal this coming after a great passing move involving Graham Delaney Joe Lea and Lee Walker who eventually passed to Power who blasted over . The same player then pointed from a placed ball after Danny Thompson was pulled down it was now Blues 1-10 Tinryland 0-02 with 10 minutes gone in the second half . Tinryland did have a purple patch and kicked 1-02 unanswered in a 6 minute spell the goal coming after a lapse in the Blues defence . However the Blues never panicked and Graham Delaney fielded a Fionn Kehoe kick out the ball was worked up the field through the hands of Ray Walker and Mark Davis it eventually found its way to big Daryll Hayden who pointed from an acute angle there was no hawkeye needed here as which was the case nearly for Haydens first half point which was eventually given after the Tinryland umpire waved it wide only for referee Paud O Dwyer to give the point . Another wonderfully worked Blues move fell to Kevin Power 14 yards out and Kevin could've went for goal but sensibly just popped the ball over the bar to stretch the Blues lead which was now 1-12 to Tinrylands 1-04 . Lee Walker then kicked arguably the score of the game fester won the ball himself out on the 45 beat two men before casually slipping the ball over the bar off his left foot the Blues were now home and hosed with just 10 minutes remaining . The Tinryland centre back then tried to carry the ball out of the back line but the ball was brilliantly over turned by Graham Delaney who drove at the Tinryland defence before off loading to Hayden to blast the ball past the Tinryland goalkeeper to seal the win for the Blues . Tinryland responded with a point from a free before Danny Thompson pointed from play a brilliant individual score from Danny as the game approached injury time . But there was time for Daryll Hayden to complete his hatrick and finish off the scoring  after a good one two with Ger Sinnott Hayden found the bottom corner to give the Blues a convincing 3-15 to 1-05 victory .
