Our Seniors had another fantastic victory in the Football League Division One on Saturday night this time defeating Rathvilly in the Deerpark . The Blues have already defeated Palatine and Tinryland in this year's league and Saturday nights victory made it three wins from three games played . Rathvilly then pointed from a free before half back Joe Lea found himself in acres of space and made no mistake blasting the ball to the Rathvilly net the Blues lead was 2-04 to Rathvillys 0-04 as the ref blew the whistle for half time . The second half begun in the similiar fashion to the first the Blues defence were well on top while midfield pair Ray Walker and Graham Delaney were running the show and setting up great attacks for the Blues forwards . Danny Thompson then pointed arguably the score of the game when it looked as is he had gone to wide Danny pointed from an acute angle . Graham Power pointed a free before full forward Daryll Hayden scored the Blues third goal following good play from Graham Delaney and Peter Fagan . Rathvilly responded with two points of there own but a Daryll Hayden point was quickly followed by a Lee Walker point from play it was now the Blues 3-06 to Rathvillys 0-06 with ten minutes remaining . The Blues then found the net for the fourth time Danny Thompson was fouled when inside the Rathvilly 14 yard line and the refeeee awarded tge penalty . Graham Delaney made no mistake blasting the ball past the Rathvilly goalkeeper to leave the scoreline at 4-06 to 0-06 .Lee Walker then received a red card for the Blues after two bookings but the game was well over at this stage .
