Dear Member,
The latest guidance from Tennis Ireland is that tennis clubs will be allowed to reopen from Tuesday 1st December with restrictive measures being in place.
We will be moving BTC back to similar curtailments that we had during the last level 3 and would like to remind members that it is up to each of us to act in a responsible manner.
We are asking you to adhere to the following as members of Ballinlough Tennis Club:
1. Members should not congregate anywhere in the club and should maintain a 2 metre distance from each other. Note this was the number one complaint to the committee during the last period of level 3.
2. During periods of high use members can use their discretion to delay arrival on court by a few minutes and depart from court a few minutes early.
3. Please use the marked entries to the courts, especially courts two and five.
4. There are hand sanitisers installed throughout the club, please make use of them before and after play.
5. No access to the clubhouse for senior members, junior members will be allowed to use the toilet facilities during the club organised coaching. The clubhouse will, in general, remain locked.
6. Please ensure that the names on the booking system match all of the players on the court, this is for contact tracing.
7. We encourage the use of masks coming to and from the courts.
8. No guests are allowed in the club at this time.
Regards,
Covid-19 Committee
