An evening with Shane O'Donnell
You may be aware Shane was chosen as an ambassador for the 'Creating our Future' initiative. Creating our Future is a Government of Irelan campaign which is seeking the opinions of the public on how future research in Ireland should be shaped. The campaign will be hosting a conversation between Shane and presenter Paul Collins in Glór on Tuesday 23rd of November discussing defining moments from his sporting career, research career and life to date.
"We’ll discuss Shane’s 3-03 score in the 2013 All-Ireland Hurling Championship Final, his studies at Harvard University as a Fulbright Scholar, his balancing of his sporting and research career, as well as his recent concussion and his work at Eagle Genomics amongst other things.
The event, part of the #CreatingOurFuture campaign, will feature a one-on-one-conversation between Shane and host Paul, with input from relevant researchers, an audience Q&A, and an interactive brainstorming session."
