We had the honor to be invited to Wolfe Tones camogie pitch last Saturday to remember our dear friend and player Bee Loughnane. A monster blitz was played against Wolfe Tones camogie with 150 girls playing on the day.  Our U6, U8 and U10 girls displayed great skills and determination, showcasing all they have been working on during the year.

Bee would be proud to see so many girls playing the game she loved, including her daughter Neila. Bee represented Sixmilebridge camogie at all underage levels and played at Senior level for a number of years.  She always wore the Bridge jersey with great pride, determination and a will to win.  She is sadly missed by us all but her memory will always be part of Sixmilebridge camogie.

Thanks to Evelyn McGirl, Kelly McCarthy and all who helped organise the blitz and we look forward to welcoming Wolfe Tones to Sixmilebridge next year.
