The U14s booked their spot in the championship final following a comprehensive win in their semi-final last Saturday. O'Callaghans Mills was the venue for the clash against a Clonlara team who had registered a good win against Clarecastle in the previous round.

As has been a feature of their recent outings, the team got off to a good start with captain Stephen Gavin opening the scoring with a well taken point. They boys took control from there with a strong halfback line providing the springboard for many attacks and went in at half time with a commanding 1-11 to 0-1 lead. Clonlara came out fighting in the second half but the Bridge lads held strong and ran out 2-21 to 3 point winners.

Lots of good performances throughout the field with with notable showings from Conor Fitzpatrick and Jack McNamara with Dylan McInerney popping up with some good scores.

The final will take place next Saturday morning (29th) at 11:30 am with St Josephs Doora Barefield providing the opposition. Venue to be announced during the week.
